Erfurt/Nuremberg: APPsolute Mobility GmbH, based in Nuremberg and with a branch in Erfurt, focuses on the digitalisation of business processes with the help of business apps. The company develops and distributes the Rapid Mobile App Development (RMAD) platform of the same name. With this innovative software solution, employees from the specialist departments can implement existing business processes in the mobile world themselves without any help from IT. In the same way, they can easily realise prototypes of new ideas or processes that are only needed for a short time as business apps, test them and constantly adapt them. Recently, the two-man founding team was able to close the second round of financing and in this context was able to win bm|t (bm‑t beteiligungsmanagement thüringen gmbh) as lead investor as well as a private co-investor.
“The success story of APPsolute Mobility is based on the core idea of the “do-it-yourself” principle. We want to enable everyone to create app applications themselves and digitise processes. Just as it has long been common to create websites without programming. Then there are the white label customers and partnerships with other software companies that use our technology to expand their existing portfolios. For example, we were able to realise app solutions for Immowelt or Schultheiß Software AG shortly after our founding,” reveals Victoria von Wachtel, managing founder of APPsolute Mobility GmbH with a focus on product strategy.
“With possible applications in the areas of personnel service providers, banks, construction, crafts, housing, mechanical engineering and others, APPsolute Mobility now offers a wide range of mobile solutions. With the new investment, we can expand the good starting position, as well as further push the application areas,” adds Alexandra Kulfanova, managing founder of APPsolute Mobility GmbH with a focus on marketing & sales.
“With bm|t, we have an investor on board who, in addition to financial resources, also brings broad knowledge from the technology and investment world, an experienced team and promising network. It was important for the company to gain such an investment partner at this time,” says Prof. Dr. Klaus Wübbenhorst, co-partner and chairman of the advisory board at APPsolute Mobility GmbH, who is, among other things, the chairman of the economic board of the Nuremberg metropolitan region and a member of the supervisory board of ERGO Group AG.
How was APPsolute Mobility able to convince the investors?
The two managing founders of APPsolute Mobility, Victoria von Wachtel and Alexandra Kulfanová, recognised early on that app creation needed to be made so simple and configurable that more companies could quickly and easily create and use their own apps for internal and external business process optimisation. To enable this self-service, APPsolute Mobility has developed a highly intuitive and flexible app development environment.
“The software platform is excellent and we were very impressed by the experienced founders who have already achieved significant revenues and have a great roadmap to scale the licence-only part of their business model. ” explains Cornelia Böse, Investment Manager at bm|t. “There are some great companies competing in the space, but with the right combination of personalised solutions and scalable software, we know APPsolute Mobility has plenty of room for profitable growth. We look forward to working with APPsolute Mobility to help businesses leverage self-service app development to improve business performance. ” adds Kevin Reeder, Managing Director of bm|t.
