In the 2017 financial year, over EUR 150 million flowed from private domestic and foreign investors from the network of bm‑t beteiligungsmanagement thüringen gmbh (bm|t), into its innovative Thuringian portfolio companies.
The invested private capital is distributed among 21 Thuringian companies, of which around two thirds are in the start-up phase.
In addition, bm|t itself invested more than EUR 10 million in these companies through the funds it manages, so that in 2017 alone a total of more than EUR 160 million flowed into innovative Thuringian companies.
In the previous year, bm|t was already able to attract over EUR 45 million in private capital to Thuringia from its investor network. This impressive figure is also proof of how attractive and fast-growing the currently more than 40 innovative companies in the bm|t portfolio are for investors.
This success was also underlined in 2017 by an IPO of a portfolio company (InflaRx NV) on Nasdaq and a portfolio sale to a big player from Silicon Valley (fayteq AG).
