Managing Director Katja Butzmann

Katja Butz­mann took over the man­age­ment of bm|t in Jan­u­ary 2025. Prior to this, she was a Senior Invest­ment Man­ager for many years with a pri­mary focus on indus­trial com­pa­nies and later stage com­pa­nies. In this role, she also took over the man­age­ment of Investee Part­ners on sev­eral occa­sions and sup­ported com­pa­nies in restruc­tur­ing and sales processes.
She pre­vi­ously served as CEO of CDA Daten­traeger GmbH in Suhl and COO of va-Q-tec AG in Wuerzburg. Ms. Butz­mann stud­ied Busi­ness Eco­nom­ics with a focus on finance, con­trol­ling, marketing/sales and inno­va­tion man­age­ment at the Uni­ver­si­ties of Regens­burg and Leipzig.
